Starting with the science

Every workshop in the Cudumi series is grounded in peer-reviewed research on chronobiology, the study of biological time. This isn't a wellness trend or a productivity hack framework. It's a body of science that's been building for decades.

We take that research and translate it into clear, practical educational content. The goal isn't to turn you into a scientist. It's to give you enough of the underlying picture that the concepts actually stick and feel useful.

We're also transparent about what science has established clearly versus what's still being studied. Biological rhythm research is an active field, and we reflect that honestly.

Design Principles

How we build each workshop

Clarity over complexity

Chronobiology involves some genuinely complex mechanisms. We don't oversimplify to the point of inaccuracy, but we do work hard to find the clearest path to the core idea. Each workshop is reviewed for jargon and restructured until the concepts flow naturally.

Context before application

A lot of wellness content jumps straight to "do this." We spend time on the why first. When you understand what's actually happening in your body, the practical side makes more intuitive sense and is easier to remember and apply.

Individual variation matters

Biological rhythms have universal features and also significant individual differences. We address both. Chronotype variation, age-related shifts, and lifestyle factors all get coverage so you're not left wondering why something doesn't match your experience.

No prescriptions

Cudumi provides educational information. We don't tell you what to do with your schedule, your sleep, or your health. We explain how things work and let you draw your own conclusions. That distinction matters, and we hold it consistently.

Ongoing revision

Science moves. When significant new findings emerge in chronobiology research, we revisit and update relevant workshop content. The curriculum is treated as a living document rather than a fixed product.

Sleep Architecture

Beyond just hours of sleep, we explore sleep stages, timing, and how the body's temperature rhythm interacts with sleep quality. Understanding sleep architecture changes how you think about rest entirely.

Light and the Clock

Light is the primary signal that sets your circadian clock each day. This area covers how different types of light, at different times, influence your internal timing and what that means practically.

It's one of the most directly actionable areas in the curriculum because the levers are visible and immediate.

Chronotypes and Variation

Morning people and evening people aren't just a preference. There are real biological differences in clock timing between individuals. We cover the science of chronotypes, how they shift over a lifetime, and why social schedules often conflict with biological ones.

Movement and Timing
